Urgent- zzsys_variable

I have uploaded nuBuilder to my webserver and configured it properly. But strangely the zzsys_variable table is becoming too large for back up. Please advise how to proceed and what is the purpose of this table anyways?

at_rcc,

Every 2 days zzsys_variables should automatically be cleaned out when you log in.

It only holds temp data, so feel free to empty it yourself.
