Next Button

Unread post by Ion2 »

Hi,

is there an option to implement a "Next Button" on the Detail-Form-Page?

In case you have to do multiple entries on data sets, is there an option to display a "Next Button" beside the other Action Buttons (Save, Delete ...)? This button should save the data and move to the next set of data, depending on the sorting you made on the Browse Form.

If it is not possible to implement it as an Action Button, is there a possibility to place the button beside the other Recorder Form Objects?

Thank you,
Timo

Steven,

as far as I understand the New Button adds an entry like the Add Button does on the Browse Form. Is this correct?

Could you give me a hint how a Next Button could be realized? Is special code needed? How should it look like? Is it possible to regard the order of the previously sorted browse form?

Thank you,
Timo

Maybe I have to specify: Let's say we have ten entries in the browse form, sorted by date. We open dataset number five, make some alterations and want to move to the next newer dataset (6). Is this possible by a button on the detail page?

Or do I have to go back to the browse form?

If I sort the same ten entries by name and open "Ben", could I press a button to get to the next entry, which would be "Bob"?

Thx, Timo

Is somebody willing to help?

Is what I wish not possible in nuBuilder?

...or is my question not understood?

Thank you,
Timo
