WordPress and Access Levels

When using a short code with WordPress, and you specify the access level in the shortcode like this:
[nubuilder width="1270" height="900" al="SUBS"]
Does this lock the user to the SUBS access level specified in the shortcode thus ignoring the Access level in the users tab in nubuilder?

Yes, you are correct.

But it also means that you can add as many Access Levels and shortcodes specific to different Wordpress Pages.

Is there a way to not specify the al= in the shortcode and have it pass the wordpress role of the logged in user?

I've created additional roles in wordpress and tied them to the wordpress users
There is one landing page in wordpress I send everyone too.
Once they login i'd like to use that wordpress role to determine their access level.

Maybe making the al optional in the shortcode would allow it to populate the ACCESS_LEVEL_CODE with the wordpress role to be matched with CODE on an access level?
