Hi,
I notice, that when I click on Update (Aktualisieren) in the top right corner, just a grey screen is shown and the user can't do anything. Refresh of the page (F5) takes the user to the loginscreen.

Aktualisieren (English Refresh) reloads the current page (breadcrumb).
F5 does not work as usual in nuBuilder: You will be logged out from nuBuilder instead.
What does this grey screen look like? Maybe upload a screenshot.just a grey screen is shown and the user can't do anything

I think it's acting the way it should. If there are no objects (like buttons) on a Launch Form and you refresh the page, the same empty form will be shown again.
