Form Tab Lookup
Form Tab Lookup
First off let me say that as I've gotten farther into the nuBuilder Forte system, I'm more and more impressed with the thoughtful design and features of the system. As my system has grown one little annoying thing is that when adding an object to a form, the form tab lookup selection form seems to be rather randomly sorted. This causes the need to look on multiple pages to find the tab I'm looking for. It seems to me that the only tabs that need to be listed are the ones on the form that is having the object added to it. Can this form be changed to only show those tabs? Or is there a good reason it's this way?
Re: Form Tab Lookup
treed,
The reason all the Tabs show is so that that Object can be cloned to another Form's Tab.

A short post is a good post.

Re: Form Tab Lookup
Hi,
I usually clone an existing object. Then use "Arrange Objects" (CTRL+SHIFT+A) to move an object to another tab if it shouldn't remain on the existing one.

Re: Form Tab Lookup
Is there at least a sensible way to have a default sort the tabs so when the form opens they are at least in the same place every time? On my system it seems rather random.

Re: Form Tab Lookup
The upcoming version will have the tabs ordered by form name and there's a filter button to show only the tabs of the current form.
