Is it possible run my site from Desktop Shortcut?

I can create Shortcut to my site (with Username and Password as parameters). For ex.:

[InternetShortcut]
"URL=(http://xx.xx.xx.xxx:yyyy/mysite/index.php?Usename=user1&Password=1234567)"

and send to user only this shortcut.
Is it possible?
