I implemented the code, but the second field doesn't populate.
I created a quick demo, and it works as expected. You can inspect the object properties, JavaScript, etc.
I assume you’ve adjusted the object IDs accordingly (Field1, Field2)?

Otherwise, please share your code and the actual object IDs — without that, it’s nearly impossible to know what’s not correct or going wrong.
