This is getting old. Had this problem on a WAMP installation and can't remember what fixed it. Installing on Ubuntu and it is back.
My tables are created from nubuilder
I increased to memory in the php.ini
errors are off both in the php.ini and the config.php
Mysql works great
PHP works great

Help! Please

I managed to get it working by doing a recursive chmod (permission change for windows users) on all the files and folders. Even though the owner and group were right, group users had no access to the files.
