I have the search screen up and running but I can't figure out how to add an edit screen. It just shows blank... One would think the simple things would be well... simple. What am I missing and the manual seems to assume that I know things that I do not since its skipping steps.

Also, as soon as I understand this system i am requesting permission to write a new sensible user guide because this one seems to ward people off.

Have you checked that the form type is 'BrowseEdit' ? Forms of this type have the Browse (search) screen and single record Edit screen together.
