SQL Builder - Fast Reports ?

I build a query in the SQL Builder, although I see no way to run/test it to know if it is working.

I went to build a Fast Report, and picked this SQL from the list, but it doesn't populate the fields for the report. If I select a table it does populate them. The SQL is manual, is that the problem?

Also, does not work with a query build using the GUI.

RESOLVED:

My mistake, these were tables brought in from another system, including some views and the definer did not have access to the nuBuilder database. I resolved it and now the fields show up in the Fast Report.
