Lookup Object - Add New Record Bypassing Magnify Glass

Hi

I have an "Application Name" field on a regular Browseedit form and a Subform with a lookup object to add/select "Categories". See my graphic below.

I would to add and associate many NEW "Categories" to each "Application Name". Is it possible to bypass the selection of the magnify glass, on the lookup object, and save them directly, as a New Record, through a "Create & Save" button? If so, how is it done with the onclick event js?
