Is this software for me?

Unread post by michaelv »

Hi, just started experimenting with nuBuilder Forte, I have some basic to none knowledge of mySql and some experience with MS Access.
I love the whole flexible concept of nuBuilder but I'm wondering....Do I need to learn mySql or PHP to use it?

Hi,

There's no need to know any MySQL or PHP if you do just basic stuff. Knowing JavaScript, MySQL, PHP is essential to for more advanced stuff.

Thanks.
I'll try the basics first then read about the advanced stuff.

Hi Michael

This is the best place to ask questions, as I see you have, as the answers may help others with similar queries.

You asked support@nubuilder.com...

I see that you are continuing in progressing your nubuilder application.

Could I please ask a few questions?

1. Is it possible to connect other tools to nubuilder?
For example signatures.io for sending out for electronic signature.
This has an api. Can this be coded into nubuilder.

2. In a similar could a Jotform be used to allow data entry.

3. It possible to connect gmail or even slack to associate communications to a contact within nubuilder.

4. Do you do custom application development?
I can provide some specifications that may at least allow you to provide some idea of costs.

I have not found a suitable practice manager / CRM that suits my needs, so this is one of the applications I am looking at.
1. Any other tools that have an Javascript or PHP API can be used with nuBuilder.
2. I would think using Jotform and nuBuilder together would be reinventing the wheel a bit.
3. If there is an API for this then the answer is more than likely yes but importing these contacts once would be simpler.
4. Yes. If you send your specs to support@nubuilder.com I can give you a ballpark figure.

I hope this was helpful.

Steven
