Hello,
My situation is the following :
I have 2 browse and edit forms. (Visit and patient)
- one is about a visit. On the edit form, I have a lookup field searching the related patient for a visit.
-> the workflow isn't optimal when I have to add a new patient from the lookup field.
1 - I hit the manifying glass to search the patient
2- no result, I add the New patient hitting the add button
3- I have to search again the New patient to link it to the lookup field.
Numerous clicks for that.
How can I make the selection once the New record added - end of step 2 ?

Re: Select New record in a lookup field
Hi,
I attempted to reproduce this, but was unable to replicate it.
Here is was I did:
1. Firstly, I added a new user.
2. Then, I clicked on the magnifying glass icon to pick an access level.
3. A popup window appeared, and within that window, I clicked on the "Add" button.
4. Finally, I saved the newly created access level.
Result: The user's Access Level was populated.
Did you do anything differently?
