New database

I have installed nuBuilder and have successfully tested it with both the "sample" and "sample debtors" database.

Now, I have a fairly large database, which has 195 tables in it. I need to know what I need to do to "install" nuBuilder into that database, so I can begin to test it with my own database and data.

Thanks,

Merrill

Hi Merrill,

To install nuBuilder into an existing database, all you need to do is copy all of the zzsys_ tables from the sample or sampledebtors database into it. Then you just have to setup a login page in the db folder to point to your new database. Once those steps are done, you're ready to start making forms and reports which look at your existing tables.

We have a new tutorial on the wiki showing how to set up a new site. You can find it here.

Enjoying using nuBuilder!

Michael
