Update other fields

Hey, i have two look up fields and i want when i select a value from the first look up field to update the second look up field. i cannot understand how to use the "Update Other Fields" section from the look up tab. can anyone explain me?

In the "Table Field Name" you put the name of the field from the lookup table (this has the value you want) and in the "Page Field Name" you put the field name from your main table (this is the location you want to put the value). Does that make sense?

Maybe if you give us some more information.
Like a screen capture of the lookup properties tab and the sql your lookup form is using.
Its hard for us to just guess.
