I've created a simple report to show some textarea fields.

date (can grow = format is still wrong)
textarea can grow.

As you can see in attachment there are some unexpected blank rows. I also add zzsys_activity of this report. It may be a help.

I'm not sure what this file is.. The simple answer to "Why are there blank rows in the pdf report?"

I haven't found an accurate way of calculating growing text areas.

The .ods file is a calculater file of libre office. I should have saved it as an xls. Isn't microsoft smart enough to open it?

About calculating growing text areas :
I wish I could help you with this, but my knowledge of this is too limited.
That is precisely the reason why Nubuilder works so fantastic for me.
