Force a screen update

When saving a subform record of an (subform) edit screen, an object on the containing edit screen needs to be refreshed.
I have inserted custom code to update the databse record correctly, but the parent edit screen does not refresh to reflect the new database value.

How do I tell that screen to refresh?
