If there any change in concurrent editing ability in nu3 ?

It would be useful to have an additional field on the form to choose between field-lock (default, the current settings) or record-lock (lock selected record for update).

Guys,

Not sure yet, it will probably work the same as 2 (saving only fields that have been changed).

How is upgrading planned and what are the thoughts on backward compatibility for solutions built in 2?

nuBuilder 3 is a complete rewrite, although a lot of the zzsys_ tables remain some of those table's structure have changed as well.
A tool to upgrade from 2 to 3 has not been developed yet and can't be our focus until 3 is up and working (we do have a big transport company in Australia currently using it, as end users, in their general day to day work), but its not quite ready for developers yet. As that requires a help file and some tutorials.
