deleting or renaming a form

Unread post by barrydocks »

just need a little noob help.

I have created a form using the form wizard and I would like to delete it, so I selected the form form the "forms" menu, selected delete "yes" when asked if I am sure but the form still appears in the wizard tab.

I have also tried to rename a form (to remove the word "Wizard") but the name remains unchange din the wizrd tab.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks you

barrydocks, you have to delete also all objects you created on that form (text, data, textarea objects, etc.)
Go in Setup > Objects, search for "your-form-name": you should see a list of all objects related to that form.
You should delete also the Button object that appear on index page: search "INDEX (form)" in the column "Belongs To"

Ah right, will try that.

I have also noticed on the forms page the list of forms seem to be slowly migrating down the page with successive edits, I am not sure which edit moves them further.

Any ideas?

You have some empty entry: you can select and delete each of them.

This, sometimes, also happened to me, but I'm still haven't found a solution.
