Upload media files to Amazon S3?

I'd like to add some integration into nuBuilder so that for a field that represents a media file, the user browses to the file, some code uploads it to Amazon S3 and then stores the resulting URL in the field.

Has anyone done this or something similar already?

Any suggestions on where I need to tackle this integration?
