free/disable drag and drop of objects in report?

Is there a way I am missing that disables the drag and drop of objects when designing a report?
I don't have the steadiest of hands and on occasion I will move an object just a pixel in one direction or another when trying to layout my fields.
In forms it's easy as I can just jump into the db and set positions using strategic queries, but in the reports I either have to do it by hand or parse out the layout code stored in one field and put it all back together again since I can't trust that when I click on an object that I'm not going to move it.
