nuBuilder - new update on SourceForge

Unread post by Janusz »

Hi,
I noticed a new version of nuBuilder on the Sourceforge (Jan,19th). Is it possible to get some info what/which files were updated?
If you like nuBuilder, please leave a review on SourceForge

Janusz,

I agree - it has become very cumbersome to carry out an update. You don't know what has been updated (no release notes), and which files have been updated.
I started using a a diff software to discover which files have been changed and so I see exactly what has been updated. But as I said, this is very time-consuming.

I wonder how all other users handle this..?

Hi

can't you just replace all nuBuilder files with the downloaded ones (except nuconfig.php of course).
As everything seems to be handled in the database, this should be no problem.

Forgot: Simply create MD5 checksums for all files in all folders of nu for the old - and for the new version. Then open these two files in a text comparison tool. This way you will find the differences quite easy.
