French translation

Unread post by fat115 »

Hello,

First of all, many many thanks to the developers. I've been looking for such a thing for years !
I'm trying to make an nuBuilder application to replace an OpenOffice/LibreOffice frontend. And it seems to be in a good way.

But many of the future users are not comfortable with english language, so i began to translate strings in french.
And then, I realize that there are many strings not translated in the UI.

So I patched some files to improve my translation.
The patched files are attached. There's also a SQL file containing the french translation.

If you download the localization file for datepicker widget from https://github.com/jquery/jquery-ui/tree/master/ui/i18n and put it in jquery/ folder of your application, it will be automatically loaded.

Hope it will help other users.

Regards

After many hours searching for a "web-based front end mysql php" and other terms such as "form, crud, generator, ..." across DuckduckGo, Sourceforge, Alternative.to & Google.
I've "quickly" found tools like vFront, XataFace, Dadabik, Portofino, Limbas and then nuBuilder (which is inaccurately tagged as freemium in alternative.to).

I've then had a look at documentation, installation instructions, license, technologies used (didn't want Java for example) and I felt in love with Mike saying "A better alternative than Microsoft Access" :D
