Does PHP Data Objects support mariaDB?

I'm not sure?

My understanding is that MariaDB and MySQL are virtually 100% compatible and the MySQL PDO driver connects to MariaDB (it thinks it is connecting to MySQL).

However I am new to these programming technologies (Linux, Appache, PHP, etc.) having come from a extensive Microsoft Access/SQL Server environment so could be incorrect.

Hi,

I'm using MariaDB on a Fedora 20 system and I haven't seen any problem so far with nuBuilder.
