We have one or two users who complain that the emailed code for 2FA is taking 5 mins and more to arrive. I realise that I need to check their email setup but I was wondering if I can check on nuBuilder how long it takes to send.

This has nothing to do with nuBuilder. E.g. when I send an email to an @outlook.com address, it always arrives immediately.
To my company address (MS Exchange) there is always a delay.

I have already made that point to the users. Just wanted to reassure myself that nuBuilder didnt queue email sending.
