WYSIWYG editor broken

Unread post by chpwebmaster »

I was on files version 2022.11.01 and just updated to 2022.11.29.

The WYSIWYG editor now shows up on the first edit form with a WYSIWYG editor object and then disappears after saving, refreshing, or changing forms until such time as I reload the browser tab. I checked in both chrome and FF and that there were no console errors.

I believe that's a caching issue. Try clearing the browser's cache. (I am aware that this is not ideal and we need to find a better solution)

You might have to use the previous core/nuwysiwyg.js and core/libs/tinymce until a solution has been found.

Also, it would be useful if you could post the error messages from the developer console here (if there are any)

Rolling back the version fixed it and there were no messages in the console.

the github update from an hour ago fixes it and this issue can be considered resolved. Thank you for the quick fix.
