I just started testing something using lookups in a subform and the first magnifying glass > choice works correctly when you go to another line and bring the browse form up and make a choice it updates the field but leaves the grey overlay so you can't do anything.
magnifying glass > choice = works
magnifying glass > choice > magnifying glass > choice = grey overlay
magnifying glass > choice > manual match entry = works
magnifying glass > choice > manual match entry > magnifying glass > choice = grey overlay
etc
broken in
DB Version: V.4.5-2023.03.31.01

my last backup that works is
